Yelena Shreyberg represents clients in a broad range of litigation matters in federal and state courts. Her areas of focus include white collar, securities and complex commercial litigation and arbitration, employment and labor disputes, government and regulatory investigations, internal investigations and eDiscovery.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Shreyberg worked in the legal department of Continuum Health Partners, Inc., where she investigated and responded to Human Rights, EEOC and NLRB complaints by current and former hospital employees, and was an intern for the Honorable Nina Gershon, District Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Ms. Shreyberg maintains an active pro bono practice. Among other things, she has served as lead counsel in pro bono immigration matters representing individuals who were the victims of crimes, including labor trafficking. Ms. Shreyberg also represented the class of inmates at Green Haven Correctional Facility in upstate New York in seeking constitutionally adequate medical care. For her work on behalf of the Green Haven inmates, Ms. Shreyberg received The Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award in 2011, 2013 and 2015.

  • Corporation and its officers in a class action lawsuit alleging violations of federal securities laws arising out of purported misstatements related to revenue projections and internal controls.
