Dalibor Valinčić is an International Visiting Advisor for Dechert.  He focuses his practice on investment and commercial arbitration.

Mr. Valinčić previously served as a partner and head of a dispute resolution practice in an international law firm, based in Zagreb, Croatia. He has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Osijek Law School.

Significant Representation

  • Representing MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Plc. in two landmark arbitrations against the Republic of Croatia, having the total value of more than 1.5 billion Euro.
  • Representing a major international oil and gas company in a dispute against its Croatian distributor.
  • Representing a German investor in forestry in a series of arbitrations under the local Zagreb Arbitration Rules against local Croatian partner.
  • Advising postal services provider against the Republic of Croatia in ICSID arbitration.
  • Representing a global hospitality provider in enforcement of an award against the owner of a hotel in Croatia.
