Nicole Wong focuses her practice on corporate matters, with particular emphasis on corporate finance transactions including public and private mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, debt offerings, and general compliance matters.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Wong served as a corporate associate at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft and Latham & Watkins.

  • The underwriters, led by Goldman Sachs (Asia), UBS and a leading global financial services firm, on the US$748 million initial public offering and listing of HKBN Ltd., a leading Hong Kong broadband service provider, on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • GF Securities Co., Ltd on its US$3.6 billion initial public offering and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, sponsored by GF Capital (Hong Kong) Limited and Goldman Sachs (Asia).
  • The underwriters, led by HSBC and a leading global financial services firm, on the US$160 million initial public offering and listing of PanAsialum Holdings Company Limited, a leading Chinese manufacturer of aluminum products, on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
  • New Century Asset Management Limited, the manager of New Century Real Estate Investment Trust (New Century REIT), on the initial public offering of units of New Century REIT on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This is the world’s first China-based hotel REIT.
  • Hong Kong Broadband Network Limited and Metropolitan Light International Limited on the offering of US$450 million 5.25% Guaranteed Senior Notes due 2018.
    MIE Holdings Corporation on the offering of US$200 million 6.875% Senior Notes due 2018.
  • Rolta India Limited in an exchange offer and consent solicitation in respect of the US$200 million 10.75% Senior Notes due 2018.

  • China Financial Services Holdings Limited in the HK$316.5 million acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Brilliant Star Capital (Cayman) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Value Partners Group Limited.
  • The majority shareholder of China Financial Services Holdings Limited in connection with the acquisition of 4.9% shareholding in China Financial Services Holdings Limited by Fosun Hani Securities Limited and Peak Reinsurance Company Limited, subsidiaries of Fosun International Limited.
  • Mason Financial Holdings Limited (currently named “Mason Group Holdings Limited”) on the approximately HK$513.9 million acquisition of a group of private assisted reproductive service providers in Hong Kong.
  • Mason Financial Holdings Limited (currently named “Mason Group Holdings Limited”) on the approximately HK$214 million acquisition of approximately 48.3% in DiagCor Technology Limited, the holding company of a group of leading molecular diagnostics companies in Hong Kong.
