Erin K. Yates focuses her practice on investor-state arbitration and international commercial arbitration matters. Ms. Yates has experience representing clients in proceedings under the rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR) and United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

Ms. Yates has advised clients in disputes and transactions spanning a number of industry sectors, including financial services, oil and gas, technology and the Internet. Her recent experience includes successfully counseling Internet registry companies in matters relating to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) New gTLD Program and successfully representing an Internet registry company in an arbitration against ICANN conducted under the ICDR International Arbitration Rules.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Yates served as a litigation associate in another international law firm.

Prior to practicing law, Ms. Yates served as a senior associate at a leading international institutional investment consulting firm.
