Aurélien Zilberman

Aurélien Zilberman practices in the area of corporate and commercial litigation, focusing on issues relating to contract law, industrial risks, shareholders disputes, unfair practices, product liability and white collar crimes.

Mr. Zilberman assists French and international clients in issues related to pre-litigation and litigation proceedings before French courts in a broad range of industry sectors such as energy, automotive, IT, distribution and real-estate. He has also been involved in proceedings in connection with so-called "toxic loans" challenged by public sector entities before civil courts.

Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Zilberman served as an associate in the corporate and commercial litigation practice at Jones Day. His previous experience includes serving as a legal intern at several other law firms, including Ashurst, Hogan Lovells, and Weil, Gotshal & Manges. He also worked as a legal intern at BNP Paribas.

  • A manufacturer of herbicides in a lawsuit related to the use of a herbicide during the Vietnam War.
  • Dexia Credit Local, Société de Financement Local and Caisse Française de Financement Local in connection with financial litigations relating to structured products commercialized to public sector entities.
  • A French subsidiary of a leading U.S. IT services company during important searches carried out at its headquarters pursuant to an ex-parte application filed by a competing company, and during the subsequent litigation before the Commercial Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
  • Main French operator of public electricity networks in commercial disputes with alternative electricity suppliers.
