Yingying Zhu focuses her practice on Chinese intellectual property matters. Yingying Zhu advises many international enterprises in IP protection work encompassing contentious and non-contentious matters, including application for trademark, copyright and domain name registration, IP due diligence, negotiation for IP-related disputes, assignment and license of IP rights, anti-counterfeiting, participation in civil actions against IP infringement and unfair competition and in judicial review proceedings regarding administrative decisions affecting IP rights.

  • Represented a US digital giant in a trademark infringement and unfair competition civil lawsuit before Chinese court. This case was listed as one of the Top 50 IP cases in China of the year by the Supreme People’s Court of China.
  • Represented a Japanese fashion house in two instances of trademark administrative lawsuit (judicial review) before Chinese court. This case was accredited by Asian IP Magazine (Feb.2010, Vol.2) as one of the four notable IP cases of the year in China.
  • Represented a US fire insurance company in a copyright infringement civil lawsuit before Chinese court.
