Dechert LLP has added to its International Arbitration group a National Partner in Paris, Enikő Horváth. Dr. Horváth’s practice focuses on international litigation and arbitration, and public international law matters. She has over 12 years of experience acting as counsel to parties in disputes before international arbitral tribunals, domestic courts, and the European Court of Human Rights. Her expertise in public international law, including the law of international organizations, human rights law, and the law of the sea, will bolster the firm’s capabilities in Paris, where she will be working closely with Dechert international arbitration partners, including Dr. Claudia Annacker.

She is admitted in Paris, New York, and England and Wales. Dr. Horváth is fluent in Hungarian, English, French, German and Italian. She has published on various aspects of international and European law.

Eduardo Silva Romero, co-chair of Dechert’s International Arbitration practice, said, “Enikő’s experience in public international law makes her a strong asset for our global international arbitration team. Her arrival, in addition to the recent recruitment of Claudia Annacker, reflects our practice’s continued plans for expansion.”

Claudia Annacker, International Arbitration partner commented, “Enikő brings extensive experience in investment treaty arbitration and other public international law, including human rights matters.  She has outstanding analytical and advocacy skills, with a keen eye for winning arguments.”

Closely following the addition of partner Dr. Claudia Annacker, who was recently appointed to the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators, Dr. Enikő Horváth will work on investment treaty arbitration and other public international matters, including disputes before the European Court of Human Rights.
