The Asian Affinity Group hosts firm-wide events to celebrate the Asian cultural heritage, such as the Lunar New Year, Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month and Diwali.
In 2024, we celebrated Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by welcoming sommelier Joyce Lin. The Dechert community enjoyed delicious Asian cuisine thoughtfully paired with wines that complemented and elevated taste sensations. The group also rang in the Lunar New Year of the Dragon with performances by G-Hwaja, a locally renowned Korean band fusing the sounds of K-pop on traditional Korean instruments.
