Public Comments on Proposed Amendments to the Federal Rule of Civil Procedure

On February 14, 2014, Complex Commercial Litigation practice co-chair Ben Barnett and Chicago partner Erik Snapp submitted comments to the Federal Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure regarding its proposed amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Drawing on their years of experience “in the trenches of electronic discovery battles in large litigation matters,” their Comments supported many of the proposed amendments, while providing the Committee specific suggested changes to others.
