Matthew P. Bertelli

Matthew P. Bertelli is an associate in the financial services and investment management group.

Mr. Bertelli represents a broad range of asset managers in matters concerning federal securities regulation and corporate law. Mr. Bertelli counsels registered investment companies and their investment advisers on a variety of legal, compliance, and business matters. He advises clients on the cross-border provision of financial services and the global distribution of investment products. Mr. Bertelli also counsels fund sponsors regarding formation, structure, and regulatory requirements for launching new funds.

Mr. Bertelli was a Dechert summer associate in 2022. Before joining the firm, he was an intern in the legal department of a public corporation based in Providence, Rhode Island and served as a judicial intern at the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
