Emily Clifford is an associate in Dechert’s financial services group. Ms. Clifford advises on formation, structuring and ongoing compliance matters in relation to Irish domiciled UCITS and alternative investment funds across a broad range of assets classes (including equity and fixed income, real assets, hedge, private credit and stressed/distressed credit).

Ms. Clifford also advises on the establishment, authorization and ongoing corporate and regulatory compliance of UCITS management companies (including with MiFID permissions) and AIFMs operating in Ireland, and the provision of cross-border services under the UCITS Directive and the AIFMD Directive. Ms. Clifford completed her training at Dechert.

Prior to joining Dechert Ms. Clifford completed an internship in a leading Luxembourg law firm in their investment funds department.
