Christopher A. Ujkic

Christopher A. Ujkic focuses his practice on financial service matters, with an emphasis on representation of investment companies and their investment advisers and boards with respect to a wide variety of regulatory, corporate governance and securities law issues. He regularly advises mutual funds, closed-end funds and exchange-traded funds and their investment advisers on issues relating to developing, organizing and registering new funds under the federal securities laws; reorganizing and merging funds; preparing shareholder proxy materials; and ongoing regulatory and compliance matters. 

Mr. Ujkic also counsels mutual fund boards and independent board members. He regularly attends mutual fund board meetings and advises boards on regulatory and corporate governance related matters. He also has experience in issues related to the launch and operation of alternative strategy investment funds, such as private funds, business development companies and interval funds.
