Kandace A. Smith

Kandace A. Smith is an associate in Dechert’s transactional pool. Her practice extends across all of the firm’s transactional practice groups including global finance and financial real estate, corporate and securities and financial services on various matters such as loan origination, capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Smith also maintains an active pro bono practice in matters such as estate planning and veterans’ rights.

Prior to joining Dechert, while in law school, Ms. Smith was a judicial extern for the Honorable Christine P. O’Hearn in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Ms. Smith was a summer associate in 2022 and 2023.
