Sarah Kupferman

Sarah Kupferman focuses her practice on corporate and securities matters, counseling private equity and strategic clients on a wide range of domestic and international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, large and middle market financing transactions, formation of domestic and offshore investment entities and general corporate advice across a variety of industries.

Ms. Kupferman has been recognized in New York for Corporate/M&A by The Deal in its Top Rising Stars: Class of 2021 list. In addition, she was recently named as an “Up and Coming” lawyer in New York for Corporate/M&A by Chambers USA, a legal directory based on the opinions of clients and peers. She was previously named an “Associate to Watch” in New York for Corporate/M&A by Chambers USA (2018 – 2020). In 2019, Ms. Kupferman was also recently named as a Rising Star by Legal 500 (U.S.) in its rankings of attorneys within the Private Equity Buyouts space.

  • Centre Partners Management LLC in connection with the sale of Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant to Sentinel Capital Partners.
  • ECN Capital Corp. (TSX: ECN) in the sale of its commercial aviation business to Stellwagen Group.
  • Centre Partners Management LLC in connection with its majority investment in Bradford Health Services, LLC, one of the largest providers of substance abuse treatment and recovery services in the Southeastern United States.
  • Hi-Shear Corporation, an affiliate of Lisi Aerospace SAS, on its acquisition of RTI Remmele Engineering, Inc., a leading provider of contract engineering and manufacturing services to global medical device original equipment manufacturers.
  • Bregal Partners L.P. in connection with its investment in American Seafoods Group, LLC and its affiliates, the largest harvester of wild-caught fish for human consumption in the United States, as part of a broader deleveraging recapitalization.
  • Bregal Partners L.P. on its sponsorship of Blue Harvest Fisheries, LLC and its related acquisitions of a fleet of Virginia-based scallop vessels and related shore assets from Peabody Corp and affiliates, and a fleet of Massachusetts-based vessels and related shore assets from Harbor Blue Seafood, Inc.
  • Centre Partners Management LLC in connection with its majority investment in Sun Orchard, Inc., a national provider of premium juice and beverage products to the foodservice industry.
  • Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. in connection with its acquisition of Eos Fitness Holdings, LLC, a Phoenix-based chain of fitness clubs operating sixteen locations in Phoenix, Las Vegas and Southern California.
  • Centre Partners Management LLC in connection with its sale of Ross Aviation, LLC, an operator of “fixed based operations” with a network of 21 locations throughout the United States, to Landmark Aviation, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group.
  • Bregal Partners L.P. in connection with its acquisition of Shock Doctor, Inc., a leading provider of performance and protective athletic equipment, and Shock Doctor in its subsequent business combination with McDavid, a leader in sports medicine, protection and performance apparel. 
  • Bregal Partners L.P. in connection with its acquisition of Four Winds Energy Services, Ltd., an independent operator of Class 1b and Class II water disposal facilities in Alberta, Canada.
  • Zealand Pharma on its exclusive peptide drug research and development collaboration agreement with Eli Lilly and Company, one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies.
