Kalyani Patil-Sonkusale, Ph.D. is a patent agent in the patent counseling and prosecution practice of Dechert’s intellectual property group.
Prior to joining Dechert, Dr. Patil-Sonkusale worked at an IP boutique law firm based in the greater Boston area where she managed several IP portfolios and gave strategic advice to start up companies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology space. She also has patent drafting and prosecution experience at another global law firm. Her Ph.D. and post-doctoral research has been published in numerous peer reviewed journals.
