Dechert LLP has been ranked among the top 20 law firms for summer associate satisfaction in the national rankings by The American Lawyer as part of its 2017 Summer Associates Survey. The survey, which included roughly 3,900 second- and third-year law school students, asked respondents to score their overall satisfaction rate in relation to their summer associate experience.
“Formal and informal training are key aspects of our program, and we strive to ensure that our summer associates have a meaningful work experience as well as a realistic view of what it’s like to practice law at Dechert,” said Alison Nina Bernard, Dechert’s chief talent officer. “In addition to attending training sessions and practice group meetings, we also provide plenty of opportunities to meet and interact with our lawyers in more relaxed settings including museums, partners’ homes, sporting events and restaurants.”
In addition to the national ranking, Dechert was also recognized among the top firms for summer associate satisfaction in several cities. The firm was listed as the number one firm in Boston and was named among the top five firms in Philadelphia, top 15 firms in Washington, D.C. and the top 20 firms in New York.
2017 summer associate program feedback has been very positive.
