Congress Disapproves CFPB Rule Regarding Arbitration Agreements

The Senate joined the House of Representatives on October 24, 2017, in disapproving the CFPB’s rule that would have prohibited providers of consumer financial services from contractually preventing consumers from participating in class action law suits against the provider. The disapproval resolutions now go to the President for his signature.
