To assist regulated financial institutions in foreseeing future regulatory trends and being better armed to develop their strategic business plans, Dechert partner Thomas P. Vartanian and associate Christopher J. Geissler have developed a white paper which examines formal and informal statements by the Trump Administration, the U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury) and the U.S. Congress. In particular, this white paper analyzes the Treasury’s report titled A Financial System That Creates Economic Opportunities: Banks and Credit Unions and explores the direction in which financial regulation is moving.
