France: Merger Control - Global Competition Review

The French merger control regime is governed by the provisionsof Book IV of the French Commercial Code (articles L.430-1 et seq), as last amended by Statute No. 2015-990 (MacronAct). Since 2008, the French merger control process is entrusted to the French Competition Authority, which published in 2013 revised guidelines on merger control.
