Megan E. Coyle, Ph.D.

Megan E. Coyle, Ph.D. is a patent agent in the patent counseling and prosecution practice of Dechert’s intellectual property group. Dr. Coyle has significant experience assisting clients with patent preparation, U.S. and foreign patent prosecution and due diligence, patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.

Dr. Coyle provides technical expertise in a wide variety of technologies in the life sciences including therapeutic antibodies, cell-based therapies, peptide-based vaccines, viral vectors, biomarkers and gene editing technologies.

Dr. Coyle earned her Ph.D. at University of Pennsylvania where her doctoral work focused on transcriptional pathways that control the differentiation and function of brown adipose.

Prior to joining Dechert, Dr. Coyle was a patent agent at a national law firm in Philadelphia.
