Daniel S. Mozes

Daniel Mozes is a partner in Dechert’s corporate and securities practice. Mr. Mozes represents private equity sponsors, alternative asset managers and private and public company clients in complex domestic and cross-border transactions, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, joint ventures, growth equity investments and other transformative capital transactions.

His experience spans a range of industry sectors, including hospitality, retail, healthcare, financial services, transportation, software and technology. Mr. Mozes has extensive experience counseling private equity sponsors, including Blackstone, Cerberus Capital Management, Court Square Capital Partners and others, along with their portfolio companies.

Mr. Mozes also advises on strategic transactions for asset managers involving efforts to diversify their businesses, including through acquisitions and investments, and advising on the formation of business development companies and related regulatory and operational matters.

  • HFF, Inc. in its definitive agreement with Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) to acquire the outstanding shares of HFF in a cash and stock transaction with an equity value of approximately US$2 billion.
