Daniel S. Mozes focuses his practice on corporate and securities matters with an emphasis on private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions, as well as public company reporting and general corporate matters.

Mr. Mozes represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies as well as strategic buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions across a wide range of industry sectors, in both domestic and cross-border transactions. He also has experience advising business development companies on fund formation and regulatory and operational issues.

  • GMéxico Transportes S.A. de C.V. in its US$2.1 billion acquisition of Florida East Coast Railway Holdings Corp., a freight transportation business operating the Florida East Coast Railway.

  • Court Square Capital Partners in its acquisition of Ahead, LLC, a value-added reseller of Information Technology enterprise software and hardware.
  • Fibertech Holdings Corp., a leading provider of fiber-optic based network services throughout the eastern and central United States, in its US$1.9 billion merger with Lightower Fiber Networks.
  • FS Investment Corporation IV, a publicly registered, non-traded business development company that primarily invests in floating rate, senior secured loans of private U.S. middle market companies, in connection with its formation and continuous public offering of up to US$2.65 billion in common stock.
  • Court Square Capital Partners in its acquisition of Research Now Group, Inc., a leading digital data collection provider.
