Kayla L. Metzger, Ph.D. is a patent agent in the Philadelphia office of Dechert’s Intellectual Property group. Dr. Metzger has significant experience assisting clients with the preparation of patent applications, domestic and foreign patent prosecution, and conducting searches for due diligence, patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
Dr. Metzger provides technical expertise in a wide variety of technologies in the life sciences including therapeutic antibodies, cell-based therapies, peptide-based vaccines, viral vectors, biomarkers and gene editing technologies.
Prior to joining Dechert LLP, Dr. Metzger was a patent agent at a national law firm in Philadelphia.
