Joseph D. Trujillo

Joseph (“Joey”) D. Trujillo litigates complex, high stakes disputes. He focuses his practice on antitrust and unfair competition, trade secrets, shareholder, and other business tort actions. He represents clients across sectors, including tech, heavy industry, insurance, private equity, and venture capital. 

Mr. Trujillo is experienced in crafting case and discovery strategy and leading multimember teams at all stages of a case’s lifecycle. He has authored numerous briefs on dispositive motions, taken and defended numerous depositions, and orally argued important discovery issues.  Mr. Trujillo previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Phyllis J. Hamilton, former Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District Court of California. Mr. Trujillo was recently appointed to serve for a three-year term on the Northern District of California’s Civil Local Rule Advisory Committee.
