Mélanie Thill-Tayara Joins Dechert

Dechert LLP is pleased to announce that Mélanie Thill-Tayara has joined the firm as a partner in the antitrust/competition practice resident in the Paris office. She was most recently a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP.

Clients turn to Thill-Tayara for her significant experience in antitrust and competition law. She regularly represents leading companies in merger notifications, conduct investigations and various other proceedings before EU and French authorities. She has handled landmark cases that have pioneered new standards with regard to essential facilities, abuse of dominance, and information exchange, and in the life sciences sector. Her previous experience includes working for the European Commission, Directorate-General for Competition, where she participated in more than 15 dawn raid operations.

Joining along with Thill-Tayara are associates Sophie Pelé and Marion Provost with additional team members expected to join shortly.

She is also mentioned in the Leaders League (2014) for her work with competition law and distribution in life sciences, pharmaceuticals and biotechs.
