The London Inclusion and Diversity Committee (IDC) promotes an inclusive culture across the London office and fosters greater awareness and understanding of the diverse communities represented at Dechert.

Through educational programs, cultural celebrations and community-building initiatives, the London IDC creates opportunities for colleagues to connect, learn and engage. Recent programs have included:

  • A UK Pride photography exhibition featuring CorporateQueer, Fiona Freund’s celebration of LGBTQ+ professionals and allies.
  • UK Black History Month programs featuring a panel of sports personalities who explored the importance of telling one’s story, and a cultural celebration with a live performance by Adanta, a traditional African dance and music group, alongside African and Caribbean cuisine.

Together, these initiatives help strengthen connections across the London office and reinforce inclusion as a core part of Dechert’s culture.
