Dechert has announced that Christopher Christian and Douglas Dick will join Gus Black as co-chairs of the firm’s best-in-class financial services group.

Gus Black, co-chair of Dechert's global financial services group and managing partner of the London office, focuses his practice on investment funds (emphasizing private equity, debt and hedge funds), establishing and restructuring international asset management businesses, corporate and commercial transactions in the asset management sector and general UK financial services regulation.
Christopher Christian, a member of the firm’s Policy Committee and also Dechert’s Deputy Chair for Strategic Growth, advises U.S. and European asset managers and investment funds, including U.S. registered investment companies and European retail funds (UCITS), on global distribution matters.
Douglas Dick, a member of the firm’s Policy Committee and former managing partner of the Washington, D.C. office, has 30 years of experience in the asset management industry, advising open- and closed-end investment companies, exchange-traded funds, money market funds, offshore funds, private investment funds, independent trustees, investment advisers and fund distributors.
