Beyond Bi is an associate in Dechert’s corporate and securities group and represents a diverse range of clients in all aspects of corporate and securities law, including securities regulation, public and private offerings, financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and general corporate matters.

Ms. Bi was a Dechert summer associate in 2021. Ms. Bi had a variety of experiences during law school, including interning at Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, MBTA and Massachusetts Land Court. 

  • Estancia Capital Management, LLC and its affiliates, which joined forces with LLR Partners, in the acquisition of Soltis Investment Advisors, LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser with more than US$9 billion of client assets under management.
  • Initial purchasers, represented by Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, in connection with the US$400 million private placement of unsecured notes by Oaktree Strategic Credit Fund.
  • HPS, a leading global investment firm, on its US$400 million private placement of notes in June 2024.
  • AGL Credit Management LLC, a premier investment manager specializing in corporate credit strategies, in connection with an exclusive cooperation agreement with Barclays Plc, a global investment bank, and the launch of a new private credit investment platform, AGL Private Credit.
  • BCRED, a leading global investment firm, on its US$500 million private placement of notes in January 2024.
  • The initial purchasers, including SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., ING Financial Markets LLC and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, in connection with the issuance, offer and sale of US$350 million of notes by Oaktree Strategic Credit Fund.
  • The ad hoc group of secured and unsecured bondholders of Brazil’s largest domestic airline, GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes S.A., in connection with its US$1.6 billion combined liability management and new capital financing transaction.
  • Horizon Technology Finance Corporation (NASDAQ: HRZN), a BDC advised by Horizon Technology Finance Management LLC  (“HTFM”), in connection with an underwritten public offering of shares of its common stock.
  • Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., which acted as the lead underwriter, in connection with a US$74.75 million investment grade debt offering by Gladstone Investment Corporation.
  • Energy Harbor Corp. in connection with its acquisition by Vistra Corp.
  • MIRA Coalition, Project Citizenship – Performed N-400 citizenship form filing assistance.
  • MA Appleseed – Drafted testimonies in support of social justice legislation and conducted bills research.
