Sarah Moffat primarily focuses her practice on leveraged finance, acquisition finance and general banking transactions.
She advises UK and international clients, including private credit funds, banks and other financial institutions, on the structuring and negotiation of a wide range of finance transactions including private equity and management backed buyouts, refinancings, corporate mergers and acquisitions and recapitalisations. Her experience includes advising on complex lending through the capital structure including unitranche, second lien and holdco PIK financings, on both UK and cross border transactions and across a wide range of industries, ranging from technology and engineering to leisure and healthcare.

Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Moffat served as an associate in both the debt finance group and the structured finance group at DLA Piper. Her experience also includes completing a secondment to HSBC Bank, where she worked within the Middle Market Financial Sponsors team.
