Kayla Yoon

Kayla Yoon is an associate in Dechert’s litigation group. She represents clients in complex commercial and civil disputes, government investigations, and bankruptcy proceedings, with a focus on representing U.S. and international public accounting firms and professionals. 

Ms. Yoon maintains an active pro bono practice. Her representative experience includes two civil misdemeanor trials before the Circuit Court of Cook County and advocacy on behalf of survivors of human trafficking.

While at New York University School of Law, Ms. Yoon argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on jurisdictional issues as part of NYU Law's Immigrant Rights Clinic. She also interned for Judge Paul L. Friedman in the District Court for the District of Columbia. Throughout law school, she served as a research assistant for Professor Alina Das and as a staff and online annotations editor for the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics.
