Global Restructuring Review Names Dechert Among Global Elite for Third Time

December 01, 2020

For the third consecutive year, Dechert LLP has been named by Global Restructuring Review among the global elite of law firms with cross-border restructuring and insolvency practices. Firms named to the publication’s annual “GRR 30” list are assessed on the number of cross-border cases on their books and on the value, volume and significance of the matters handled.

This year, Global Restructuring Review highlighted a number of Dechert’s leading mandates, including its successes on behalf of bondholders in the cross-border restructurings of Irish Bank Resolution Corporation, an entity set up by the Irish government to liquidate two Irish banks after the 2008 financial recession; International Bank of Azerbaijan; Brazilian telecom Oi, and Brazilian oil-and-gas driller Constellation.

The Constellation matter was recently honored as “Restructuring of the Year” by both the International Financial Law Review and Latin Lawyer.
