Profiles in Diversity Journal Recognizes Dechert’s Diversity & Inclusion Team
The Diversity & Inclusion team at Dechert LLP has been honored by Profiles in Diversity Journal in the publication’s inaugural Diversity Team Awards, which were established to celebrate the contributions of individuals and teams to advancing the cause of diversity and inclusion around the world.
Nominations were judged on the significance of each team’s achievements and the impact of its efforts on overall culture at the nominee organization.

Dechert’s multi-faceted D&I strategy features a number of innovative initiatives, including a “diversity dashboard” that helps firm leaders identity where things are working effectively and where more attention is needed. The firm established an internal award, open to all those at Dechert, whatever their seniority, role or location, to recognize its Diversity Champions.
As a result of its advances, Dechert is regularly honored for its progress towards D&I goals. Most recently, the firm was certified in the United States as one of the “Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services” by Great Place to Work®. It was also named to the “Top 70 Companies for Executive Women” list—for the second year in a row—by National Association for Female Executives, a division of Working Mother Media, and honored as one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign after achieving a perfect score in HRC’s Corporate Equality Index—for the eighth year in a row.
In March, the firm was also named a “Diversity Leader” by Profiles in Diversity Journal for the efforts of partner Abbi Cohen, the Deputy Chair of Diversity & Inclusion.
