Global Arbitration Review Honors Initiative Involving Dechert Partner with Best Development Award

The Campaign for Greener Arbitrations, for which Dechert LLP partner Michelle Bradfield is the co-chair of the steering committee, received Global Arbitration Review’s Best Development Award at the 2020 GAR Awards.

The pledge was launched by arbitrator Lucy Greenwood and aims to reduce the carbon footprint of those participating in international disputes. Greener Arbitration was launched in April, to coincide with Earth Day. The campaign’s steering committee aims to issue protocols on best practice in managing arbitrations to minimise their environmental impact. 

Winners were announced at a virtual ceremony on July 9.
