LawWorks Shortlists Dechert London Lawyers Twice for Commitment to Pro Bono

Dechert LLP has been shortlisted in two categories at the LawWorks Pro Bono Awards 2021. LawWorks, a UK charity that connects volunteer lawyers with people in need of legal advice, established its annual awards to celebrate outstanding achievement.
In the “Best Contribution by a Large Firm” category, Dechert has been shortlisted for acting pro bono in support of artists in London by advising Outset Contemporary Art Fund on efforts to prevent the eradication of artists’ workspaces and on the creation of theVOV, a new digital platform allowing artists to present landmark exhibitions live and on demand.
London-based employment law partner Charles Wynn-Evans has also been shortlisted for “Best Contribution by an Individual.” Mr. Wynn-Evans, who has chaired the firm’s London Pro Bono Committee since 2012, has been instrumental in shaping the pro bono culture in the London office and has served as mentor to an entire generation of young pro bono lawyers.
LawWorks will recognize exceptional contributions made by lawyers and law firms at a Pro Bono Awards ceremony on December 7 at the Law Society in London.
