Profiles in Diversity Journal Honors Two Dechert Lawyers

Two Dechert LLP partners have been recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal, which showcases and honors individuals who blaze new trails in advancing diversity and inclusion in the workplace and who excel in their chosen fields. 

Angela Liu, a securities litigation partner in Dechert’s Chicago and New York offices, was recognized in the publication’s inaugural Asian Leaders Worth Watching Awards 2021, established to honor those who through advocacy, perseverance, legacy or professional achievements have addressed racism and bias. In her litigation practice, Ms. Liu defends multinational public companies and their directors and officers in securities-related litigation and investigations. Recognized as an “Exceptional Teacher”, Ms. Liu co-leads Dechert’s Asian Affinity Group and sits on the firmwide D&I, Hiring, and Innovation committees. Working pro bono, she has successfully challenged voting restrictions in Kansas, Tennessee and Wisconsin, and has addressed the Human Rights Council at the United Nations in Geneva.

Lindsay Flora, a global finance partner in Dechert’s New York office, was named to the publication’s Women Worth Watching in STEM Awards, established to celebrate women leaders who break barriers in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. For more than a decade, Ms. Flora has guided borrowers, private equity sponsors, commercial lenders and alternative capital providers through their most complex financing transactions. Ms. Flora, who spearheaded a multi-part Harvard Business School boot camp for future private equity leaders, also serves as faculty leader within Dechert’s Sponsorship and Sustained Support program, which helps senior women associates and counsel navigate the path to partnership.
