February 08, 2024

Three Dechert lawyers have been chosen to participate in selective  programs run by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), an organization comprised of top legal professionals working to build a more open and diverse legal profession.

Intellectual property partner Nisha Patel Gupta was selected for the 2024 LCLD Fellows Program, which is designed to connect high-potential lawyers from distinguished organizations for a year-long professional development series that emphasizes leadership and relationship building. Fellows are chosen based on their demonstrated leadership skills, as well as their active commitment to the legal community and diversity and inclusion activities.

Litigation associate Hayoung Park and corporate & securities associate Ranjini Ramesh have both been selected to participate in the LCLD 2024 Pathfinders Program. As Pathfinders, Hayoung and Ranjini will participate in a seven-month professional development series that focuses on foundational leadership skills, building professional networks and career development strategies.

Founded in 2009, LCLD includes more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a truly diverse legal profession. Dechert joined LCLD in 2017. Past Dechert participants include partners Angela Liu (2018 Fellow); Nadeea Zakaria (2020 Pathfinder); and May Chiang (2021 Fellow).
