Daily Journal Names Jay Bhimani Among its Top 40 Under 40 for 2025

Jay Bhimani, co-chair of the firm’s product liability and mass torts practice, has been recognized by the Daily Journal in its Top 40 Under 40 list for 2025. Each year, the publication honors the achievements of exceptional lawyers in California under the age of 40.

Mr. Bhimani, who was recently named a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by ALM’s The Recorder in its California Legal Awards 2025, counsels clients on a wide range of commercial litigation matters, with a focus on product liability and mass torts. He has served as trial counsel in numerous high-stakes matters in which the claimed damages were in the hundreds of millions of dollars, including in the largest multi-district litigation in history. In addition to his product liability and mass torts practice, Mr. Bhimani has extensive securities and commercial litigation experience, including in some of the largest such matters in U.S. history.

Mr. Bhimani, who also serves as managing partner of Dechert’s Los Angeles office, is a past recipient of Public Counsel’s Pro Bono Award and is active in the Southern California legal community, including as a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Litigation Section Executive Committee and as a director of Teach Democracy.
