Dechert's annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month event took place on May 19. With the rise of intolerance and violence directed at Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, it is more important than ever that we stand in solidarity against racism and celebrate the culture, traditions and contributions of the Asian American Pacific Islander communities in the United States. This year, we were honored to welcome Juju Chang, Emmy Award-winning co-anchor of ABC News' ‘Nightline’ for a conversation on the rise in violence against Asian Americans and how we can each play a role as allies to stop the hate.
