Alternative Investment Funds COO Forum

Dechert’s global investment funds group invite you to join them for an afternoon of focused discussion on key legal and regulatory developments, trends and other 'hot topics' across private equity, private credit, hedge, real estate and a variety of investments products.

There will be plenary sessions as well as break-out sessions to enable further discussion on areas of particular interest.

This event will be of interest to COOs, CCOs, GCs and other senior operational, compliance and legal professionals.

A Dechert-hosted dinner will follow the event.

• Regulatory update, a look back on key regulatory changes in 2024 and priorities for 2025, from a U.S., UK and European perspective.
• Post October budget round up, with a focus on the budget’s likely impact on the alternative asset management sector.
• Fund structuring, with a focus on key fund terms, investor priorities and recent trends (fees, side letter requests, liquidity, co-invests, convergence between closed ended and open ended fund structures, among other recent trends).
• Managed accounts, an overview of key terms and trends and a focus on ‘capital efficient’ investing.
• Fund financing, an overview of key terms and trends in NAV financing and subscription line financing.
• Trading documentation, an overview of key terms and trends.
• Marketing in Europe, the UK and the U.S.
• Other ‘hot topics’, such as outsourcing, use of data, allocation of expenses, completing DDQs, remuneration structures and setting up non-UK offices (with a particular focus on Dubai, Switzerland and repatriation regimes in Europe).
