Dechert LLP white collar and securities litigation partner Miriam González has been named to Financial News’s 11th list of the 100 Most Influential Women in Finance. This year’s FN100 Women list highlights a number of female executives shaping the future of European markets amidst Brexit upheaval.
González, partner and co-chair of international trade and government regulation practice, has immense knowledge of the European Union, as former European Commission negotiator and legal adviser from 1994 until 2006, when she moved to private practice. Since joining Dechert in 2012, she advises corporates, financial services firms, industry associations and governments on trade law, EU regulations and sanctions.
The FN100 Women, all based in Europe, the Middle East or Northern Africa, were selected after three months of canvassing the market. Candidates were assessed on their influence and leadership over their organization and market sector, their performance over the past year and in their career to date, as well as their capacity to shape their business in the future.
