Dechert Shortlisted for Six Law Firm Awards in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific
Leading global law firm Dechert LLP has been shortlisted for six “Law Firm of the Year” awards in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific by Private Debt Investor (PDI) and Private Equity International (PEI), the publications of record for the world’s private credit and private equity markets.
In the PDI Awards 2017, Dechert has been named to the shortlist for “Law Firm of the Year” in all three regional contests in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. The firm has won PDI’s North America category for the past two years and was also a finalist in Europe in 2016.
This year, in North America, the publication highlighted Dechert’s assistance to KKR’s BDC, Corporate Capital Trust, on its listing on the New York Stock Exchange. PDI noted that, in Europe, Dechert typically advises a long roster of debt fund clients and works closely with AIMA as a partner in the debt fund space, while, in Asia, it has worked on ground-breaking fund formation mandates in China and Hong Kong.
In the PEI Awards 2017, the firm has been shortlisted for “Law Firm of the Year” in North America in the “Transactions” and “Fund Formation” categories and, in Asia-Pacific, in the “Fund Formation” category. In North America, PEI highlighted Dechert’s acquisition advice to an array of leading of sponsors and its work on the formation of Australis Partners' first Latin American mid-market fund. In Asia, the publication also noted the firm’s work on China Everbright's $600m Global Investment Fund and other high-profile fund formation mandates.
