DER Touristik Group Assumes Management of Three Former Adeo Alpin Hotels
Dechert LLP advised DER Touristik Hotels & Investment GmbH, a subsidiary of DER Touristik Group, on the takeover of three hotels in Austria and an agreement for a long-term cooperation.
DER Touristik Hotels & Resorts will take over the management of the three hotels located in Lungau, the Kitzbüheler Alps and Gosau am Dachstein under a management contract beginning January 2018. The hotels, previously managed under brand name “Adeo Alpin,” will operate under the new name “Cooee Alpin.” DER Touristik Group and Adeo Alpin aim for further growth for the Cooee Alpin brand.
DER Touristik Group, with headquarters in Cologne and Frankfurt, Germany, is the travel and tourism division of the German REWE Group and generated EUR 6.3 billion in revenues in 2016. The cooperative REWE Group, a leading trade and tourism group in Germany and Europe, employs 330,000 people and generated over EUR 54 billion in revenue in 2016. Adeo Alpin, headquartered in Vienna, Austria, was founded by former ski-athletes Hermann Maier and Rainer Schönfelder.
