Online Pharmacy Newpharma Group Acquired by Korys/Colruyt

BRUSSELS – Dechert LLP has advised the selling shareholders of the Newpharma Group, the largest online pharmacy in Belgium, in connection with the sale of its shareholding to a consortium that includes Korys (the Colruyt family investment company which has €4 billion under management), the Colruyt Group (owner of the largest supermarket chain in Belgium) and Newpharma Group’s current management. The transaction closed on December 18, 2017.
