Philadelphia Business Journal Names Geneva Campbell Brown Among 25 Young Lawyers on the Rise
Dechert LLP corporate and securities associate Geneva Campbell Brown has been named among the 25 Young Lawyers on the Rise by the Philadelphia Business Journal. The series highlights Philadelphia based lawyers, born between 1982-2000, who are making an impact on the legal industry. The 25 lawyers were selected based on the publication’s institutional knowledge and from recommendations by a variety of external news sources.
Brown focuses her practice on corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, public company securities filings and general corporate advice. She has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions within the life sciences and health care industry. In addition to her professional practice, Brown also maintains an active pro bono practice. Among other things, she founded the Community Lawyering Practice Group at Dechert, through which attorneys participate in legal clinics related to medical services, custody, homelessness, public benefits and elder care in partnership with local legal services organizations. For her work with the Community Lawyering Practice Group, Brown received the Dechert’s 2017 Samuel E. Klein Pro Bono Award and was named the February 2017 Member of the Month for the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia.
