Dechert LLP labor and employment partner Alan D. Berkowitz has been elected by The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers as a new Fellow. Election as a Fellow represents recognition for sustained outstanding performance in the profession, exemplifying integrity, dedication and excellence.
Berkowitz represents employers in a wide range of employment litigation disputes including cases alleging discrimination, breach of contract, employment torts, non-compete violations and wage and hour violations. He has extensive experience in federal and state court in both class action and individual litigation. Berkowitz is also experienced in handling representation and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and labor arbitration proceedings in a wide variety of industries.
The 22nd installation of Fellows will be held on November 11, 2017 in Washington, D.C. With the current installation, the College is represented by more than 1400 members in forty-six states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and eight Canadian Provinces.
