Dechert Expands Global Finance Practice in Chicago with Strategic Partner Hire
Chicago, IL – Leading global law firm Dechert LLP has expanded its global finance capability by adding strategic hire Matthew R. Hays to its 130-strong lawyers across the world’s major financial centers. Mr. Hays joins as a partner with a focused practice on asset-backed securitization. He will be resident in Chicago.
Mr. Hays has considerable experience with matters relating to structured finance transactions, warehouse facilities, asset sale transactions, as well as public and private securitization transactions. He represents clients in numerous industries, including automotive finance, banking, technology and financial services.
Dechert focuses on complex financings and sophisticated and efficient deal structuring and execution. Our global finance team advises on corporate finance, structured finance and securitization, leveraged finance and commercial real estate finance matters. This news builds on this group’s expansion in New York City last year with the addition of Bruce Bloomingdale. Last year, Dechert’s asset-backed securitization team handled more than thirty deals representing approximately $20 billion.
