Tönsmeier and Lumaro to Sell Waste Paper Trade

Frankfurt – Dechert LLP is advising Germany-based Karl Tönsmeier Entsorgungswirtschaft GmbH & Co. KG, a family-owned business and one of the five largest waste management companies in Germany, and Dutch Lumaro Beheer B.V. in their proposed sale of all shares in Waste Paper Trade (WPT), a Netherlands-based waste paper recycling business, to Cycle Link (Europe) B.V. and Cycle Link International Holdings Limited. The buyers are both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Hong Kong-based Anhui Shanying Paper Group. The proposed transaction is subject to relevant competition authority approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
