Dechert Taps Matthew R. Hays to Lead Asset-Backed Securities Team
CHICAGO, March 19, 2019 – Dechert LLP Finance and Real Estate practice group leadership has selected Chicago-based partner Matthew R. Hays to lead its asset-backed securities (ABS) team taking over from New York-based partner Malcolm S. Dorris. Mr. Hays will work to further support clients with innovative deal structuring, creative financing strategies and efficient execution.

Mr. Hays focuses his practice on asset-backed securitization across a broad range of asset classes, with considerable experience in structured finance transactions, warehouse facilities, asset sale transactions, as well as public and private securitization transactions. He represents clients in numerous industries such as automotive finance, banking, technology and manufacturing.
