Robert Heim Honored at Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2019 Influencer of Law Awards

Dechert partner Robert Heim has been named a “Lifetime Achievement” award winner as part of the Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2019 Influencers of Law Awards. The awards aim to honor lawyers based on accomplishments in specialized practice, business impact, and civic and community services.  

Throughout his career, Mr. Heim has been a pillar of the Philadelphia legal community. He previously served as Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, President of the National Conference of Bar Presidents, Chair of the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board, and the Chair of the Free Library of Philadelphia Board of Trustees. He is also the Chair of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts. 

Focusing his practice on antitrust, securities, products liability and complex commercial litigation, Mr. Heim has represented numerous Fortune 100 companies in trial and appellate matters in both state and federal courts throughout the country. His clients include Bayer Corp., Comcast, Nationwide Insurance, American Airlines, Verizon Communications, Wegmans Supermarkets and Johnson & Johnson.  

He is also an elected Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.  

Winners were selected by Inquirer readers and evaluated by a panel of expert judges who felt that the selected lawyers shaped, changed and transformed the legal industry. 

Mr. Heim, along with the other winners, will be honored at an awards ceremony on March 26, as well as profiled in a special section of the Sunday Inquirer.
