Two Dechert Lawyers Named 2019 BTI Client Service All-Stars
Dechert partners Steven Bizar and Mike Cowie have been selected as 2019 BTI Client Service All-Stars.

This is Steven Bizar’s third time being named an “All-Star.” He is the co-leader of Dechert’s antitrust practice and a first chair trial lawyer who is well regarded for his success in the defense of antitrust class action and Section 1 Sherman act cases and his trial of complex commercial disputes in court and before arbitrators. In 2018, he led a team that achieved a decisive victory for family-owned Pennsylvania egg producer R. W. Sauder, Inc. in a US$1 billion antitrust class action jury trial in Philadelphia Federal Court, among many other successes.
Mike Cowie handles strategic antitrust projects for some of the world’s largest and most successful companies and has served as lead antitrust counsel for some of the largest transactions in history. Most recently, Mr. Cowie led the team that obtained approval for CVS Health in its US$70 billion acquisition of Aetna, the largest healthcare services deal ever. His background holding leadership positions at the Federal Trade Commission has given him insights to deliver the best antitrust advice to clients.
The lawyers recognized as BTI Client Service All-Stars are named as a result of more than 350 in-depth, independent interviews with legal decision makers at leading organizations with US$1 billion or more in revenue.
