Stephanie Capistron Named “Best in Investment Funds” by Euromoney/Legal Media Group

Dechert LLP partner Stephanie Capistron has been named “Best in Investment Funds” at Euromoney/Legal Media Group’s Americas Rising Star Awards 2019. The awards, now in their second year, honor those rising star lawyers who lead the field in the legal sector across the Americas.

Ms. Capistron advises U.S. registered investment companies and their investment advisers on a wide variety of regulatory, compliance and corporate matters, including the development and launch of new funds, regulatory and compliance matters relating to existing funds, fund reorganizations and requests for exemptive relief from the Securities and Exchange Commission. She also regularly provides advice on affiliated transaction matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940.

Ms. Capistron, who works from Dechert’s Boston office, was recently ranked in Chambers USA as an “Up and Coming Lawyer” for Hedge & Mutual Funds in Massachusetts. She has also been recognized in The Legal 500 (U.S.) in the area of mutual/registered funds.

Winners in the Euromoney/Legal Media Group awards were honored at a ceremony at The Pierre Hotel in New York on September 12.
